The Machine Creates the Need

She's a good driver. Sometimes scary, but Natilie is a GREAT driver.

Even so, it's not like it rains a lot around these parts, and other people out there aren't the safest drivers. I'm pretty worried that something would happen to her driving all the way to the Westside in these conditions and she doesn't have a phone that works in case something bad were to happen.

I don't want to think negatively, but I just wish there was a way to contact her, or for her to have some sort of means to communicate to...anyone that she's alright if she wanted or needed to.

Maybe I'm a little concerned, but I'm not afraid of something bad happening. I guess it's just peace of mind. I mean, people fared pretty well without having a mobile telephone by their side in the past, right? But I guess it's just so commonplace to have them around now, it's it's a giant peace of mind that can help one sleep better at night knowing if something bad were to happen, they were just a phone call away.
