At my house, we've got a television that doesn't get a TV signal, and is used for the Wii and the DVD player. We don't have a VCR player. Not that I watch movies a lot at home anyway, but I'm sad that we don't have that option to watch VHS cassettes.
I've been at my parents' place as my sister was going through all the VHS tapes and there are some movies I'd love to spend a lazy day watching some movies I haven't seen in a long time, like Great Expectations, Sliding doors, The Iron Giant, Cats Don't Dance, etc., but unless I wrangle a VCR, I'll have to try stealing some time from the TV here in Monrovia to watch some sorely-missed movies.
Ooh, I saw the Hudsuker Proxy too...
