This visit was just as great as all my other visits. I spent some time talking to the gal behind the counter about what I needed and what I was thinking of doing, and she offered her suggestions on what type of film and how much film to get. She also talked about her shooting with this awesome camera that made me so jealous, and she assured me it was a loan from her school, which she told me that's the only reason she's still going. SOOOO jellies.
It makes me think how awesome it would be just to stop with developing proper skill sets and job experience, save money/take out a student loan and go back to school to take pictures and work at the nearby photo supply store to get the discounts from there as well as the chance to get to talk to photo nuts and see/compare using different products.
In my dreams indeed.
Maybe I'll buy myself a subscription to Aperture magazine for my birthday. I can't see anything better than getting into an angry and envious inspired rage than looking at and reading about really, really well done photography.
Since I've recently touched upon the whole nostalgia thing, each time the phrase, "In my dreams" comes up, I always think about that song by The Party, the pop band that was formed by the original cast of the new Mickey Mouse Club
I've definitely been wanting to see a few of their videos again, since I LOVED the early years of MMC (I didn't really watch during the Britney, Justin, Xtina and Ryan Gosling era much). YouTube is a crazy site.

Hey I think that is a cover of a Dokken song - so bizarre.

Oh my goodness. No wonder I found it strange the song had a lack of really heavy guitars. And why they had that awful high-pitched harmonies also.
