Random Thought of the Day

Would it be redundant to say classic Beatles, as in "This is a classic Beatles song?" Are there songs in their catalogue that are more "classic" than others? Is saying classic Beatles is like saying that Mozart composed Classical (period) music? Would that be an issue to refer something that Beethoven did as Classic (I guess one can consider him on the cusp of Classic and Romanic, but I see him as a Romantic pioneer), and are there "classic" pieces for Mozart and Beethoven?
